It's common to spend a significant amount of time staring through your phone's lock screen therefore it's important to ensure that the lock screen is tailored to your preferences. the correct information can help you save hundreds of phone unlocks each day. Although Google's latest Android 14 OS is hardly filled with headline-grabbing new features, the majority of the changes are small and gradual. Still, one area that has undergone a noticeable overhaul is the possibility of customizing the screen of your lock.

Click the color and size of the clock Click Clock color and size, then color to select an appropriate shade for the clock's font. You can change the lightness of the shade by using the slider on the lower.
Change the Size option to choose the dynamic clock (which adjusts its size according to what else is displayed on the screen) and a small clock (which is always smaller).

Another new feature: scroll down the bottom and then click shortcuts to select quick links that appear on the right and left corners in the lower-left corner of the lock screen. There are options to choose from Camera Do Not Disturb, Flashlight Home Mute, and QR code scanners. video camera, wallet, or none.
The new Android 14 customization options are covered however, you'll have the older list of choices to play with as well. You'll still be on The Lock Screen tab switch to show notification notifications in the Lock screen to show notifications (for added convenience) or to hide them (for additional privacy).
Tap the More Lock Screen options to access several other options.
Choose privacy to hide or show "sensitive content" in notifications (such as previews of new emails and messages).
If you've configured your phone to allow several users you can allow the addition of users on the lock screen.
Tap Add a text message on your lock screen to get the message shown perhaps your contact information (if your phone is misplaced) or a mantra for you to get through your day.
The Controls for the device toggle switch determine whether or not you're able to manage the various Google Home devices (like smart lights) via the Quick Settings panel, without locking your phone.
The Double-line clock toggle switch determines whether or whether that clock is expanded to fill two lines if you lock the screen blank.
Click "Now Playing (if you own a Pixel smartphone) to determine whether or not the songs are displayed in the screen lock. If the songs aren't instantly identified, there's an icon for searching that you can press.

Android can now alter your operating system's colors (menu background accents, fonts, accents, etc.) with a palette that is based on the wallpaper you have selected. On the System Colors page, click the Wallpaper colors for those who want to make use of this method. Tap other colors for those who prefer the color scheme matched independently to the wallpapers you've picked.
There's an additional darker theme toggle switch that you can choose to select dark versions of the chosen color scheme. The changes you make are displayed in the pictures above when you scroll through the various choices.
